About Me.
Hello, my name is Don Klepel. I started faceting gemstones in 1996 using a Prismatic faceting machine. After I retired I purchased a new Raytech Shaw faceting machine. As I am also an amateur machinist, I’ve been able to make numerous accessories such as transfer fixtures and specialty dops for the Raytech Shaw faceting machine. On this website I would like to share various things I’ve learned about faceting gemstones, equipment modifications and other aspects of faceting.
